CENTRE HEAD
Since 2009, Fountainhead Preschool now Flutterby ELC has been more than just a workplace for me—it’s been a space where I’ve grown alongside the children. From my early days as a teacher to now being a Centre Head, every step has deepened my belief in what childhood truly needs: time, trust, and tenderness.
I’ve never seen childhood as a race. For me, it’s a quiet unfolding—a rhythm, not a rush. Inspired by the wisdom of Steiner, I’ve come to see how children thrive when they’re allowed to move at their own pace, with their hands in the soil, their minds full of stories, and their hearts wide open.
Screens don’t belong here. Pressure doesn’t belong here. What does belong is space—space to explore, to feel, to wonder. I believe children don’t need to be filled up with information; they need to be met where they are. Held, seen, and gently guided toward becoming who they already are, deep inside.
Every day, I witness the quiet strength of independence blooming—not by instruction, but by invitation. Through rhythm, nature, and presence, children begin to trust themselves. And that, to me, is where real learning begins.

I’ve had the privilege of working at Fountainhead Preschool now Flutterby ELC for the past nine years, and the journey has been nothing short of transformative. As a Coordinator, I’ve grown not only professionally but also as an individual who deeply understands the essence of early childhood development. Over the years, I’ve come to believe that structured play has its place, but what truly matters is nurturing a child’s natural curiosity and allowing their senses to flourish. Children don’t grow by staying confined within four walls—they thrive when they explore, when they feel, see, smell, hear, and truly experience the world around them.
It’s in the scent of a fresh flower, the texture of wet mud between their fingers, the sound of laughter as they run freely, or even in the fall they take for the seventh time—only to rise again—that real learning happens. These are the moments that shape confidence, resilience, and a love for discovery.
At flutterby, we strongly believe in giving children a natural, enriching environment—with 100% zero screen time. Our classrooms are designed for real-world engagement, not virtual simulations. Instead of screens, our children connect with nature, with people, and with themselves
We create a space where children are free to wonder, to experiment, and to grow into happy, grounded individuals—screen-free and stress-free.

Being a part of Flutterby ELC for the past four years as a teacher and Content Executive has been more than just a role—it’s been a journey filled with purpose, and a deep connection to the magical world of early childhood.
Every story written, every learning plan designed, and every idea brought to life has been driven by one thing: love for children. There’s something incredibly special about creating content that shapes young minds—content that doesn’t just teach, but touches hearts.
One of the things I cherish most is capturing the beauty of childhood in its truest form. I don’t believe in asking children to pose or perform for the camera. What matters is being in the moment—those genuine smiles, curious glances, messy hands, and spontaneous laughter. That’s where the real magic lies.
At Flutterby ELC, we don’t just educate—we nurture. And knowing that the words I write and the moments I capture help create a world where children feel seen, heard, and loved… that’s the most rewarding part of all.

A year's time at Flutterby ELC, what began as an administrative role quickly blossomed into something far more meaningful—a journey of connection, warmth, and unforeseen delight. As an administrator, while I'm not in the classroom every day, the very soul of this place—the laughter of children, their endless energy, and their unfiltered awe—has seeped into every aspect of my work.
I never anticipated that behind the spreadsheets, schedules, and systems, I’d encounter moments that remind me why Flutterby is so unique. It's not merely about managing tasks; it's about being part of a world where every detail, no matter how minute, contributes to creating an environment where children feel secure, joyful, and free to express themselves.
One of my favorite things? The unplanned, unposed moments—tiny hands waving at me from across their way, a sudden hug from a little one. These are the moments no job description could ever capture, yet they’re the ones that stay with me long after the long workday ends.
